Here Are Some Highlights
 
In 2011 we successfully completed project assignments in: the U.S., Middle East, South America \, Central Asia & Balkan region.  In 2012 we have assignments in: Kyrgyzstan, U.S., Liberia and others are pending.
 
 
International:
 
Spearheaded technical assistance and expertise in public outreach and media/strategic communications for Kosovo's population and housing census in 2011
 
Wrote Communications and Outreach Strategies for USAID-funded projects in Liberia and Balkan Region
 
Trained CSOs and civic business leaders in Guyana on basic strategic communications planning, outreach tactics, message development for thier organizations and info campaigns as well as crisis communications and media relations.  Also wrote strategic workplan for a new media (social media) project prior to elections aimed at engaging youth
 
Wrote Behavior Change Communications 3 year workplan on a major nationa health project in Mongolia as well as refined key messages for target audiences and create logo/branding for project. (funded by MCC and government of Mongolia).
 
Wrote media/communications strategy and conducted trainings for staff of the Ministry of Justice and regional courts in Moldova. Also conducted "close out" communications and staged final event for a MCC project resulting in reforms in the judicial, health and tax admin. sectors of the country. This was a 6 month consultancy.
 
Trained women journalists in Serbia on effective leadership through a three-day skills-building workshop.
  
Wrote media (community radio) strategy for three-year USAID-funded project in Sierra Leone involving community radio and drama groups to engage citizens and inform the public about the project and best practices in the areas of: Agriculture, Bio-Diversity/Forestry and Governance. Trained international project staff on media relations, public outreach and messaging.
 

Spearheaded re-branding, strategic communications/key messaging and civic engagement process to a broad public information campaign in Moldova regarding tax and regulatory reforms aimed at improving the business climate in the country.

 
Monitored 2007 national elections in Sierra Leone as a member of a 12 person long-term (5 months) International Elections Monitoring Team. Specific role was to highlight media coverage of process as well as political party messages.
 
Trained leaders of three minority political parties in Macedonia on issues of, Message Development, Media Strategies and Constituent/Voter Outreach and Communications.
 
Trained leaders of three minority parties in Cambodia on issues of Message Development, Constituent/Voter Outreach Communications and Media Relations.
 
Trained leaders of three minority political parties in Macedonia on issues of, Message Development, Media Strategies and Constituent/Voter Outreach and Communications.

Trained board members of a broad coalition of advocacy groups in Kyrgyzstan on Board Strategic Planning and Project Development/Management, Constituent Communications. Trained hundreds of citizens in the capital city and 18 villages and around the country on advocacy and civic participation.
 
Worked with NGO leaders in Kazakhstan on issues of NGO organizational Strategic Planning and working with local media on a first ever public information campaign about human rights abuses in jails.

Trained leaders of various NGOs in Sierra Leone on Media Relations, Message Development about GOTV efforts. 
 
United States & Minnesota:
 
Completed a year-long media and civic engagement project for a Smoke-free Minnesota non-profit. Results include: media coverage, a citizen-driven photo contest, photo display and 6 page magazine insert.
 
Completed an 18-month communications consultancy to the Law and Gov't Affairs Depts. at the Target Corporate HQs in Minneapolis. Wrote key and strategic internal communications for various communications vehicles as well as success stories.
 
Consulting team member to Communications/Media Relations for DC-Based American Red Cross’  headquarters International Disaster Communications Team. Assisted with media on White House Malaria Summit and Annual World Disasters Report.
 
Trained leaders of various advocacy organizations in Indiana on issues of, Message Development and civic engagement.
 
Spearheaded/Consulted communications for state, national and international elections campaigns.

Spearheaded communications and media relations for Minnesota Hiawatha Light Project Office—the state of Minnesota’s first Light Rail Transit project.

Managed all communications, branding and media relations for the city of Minneapolis’ public library system leading up to the grand opening of a new downtown public library.

Conducted, Workplace Supervisor Skills-Building Trainings, Work/Life Balance Consultations/Trainings, Diversity-Appreciation Seminars/Workshops and more.
 
Planned and managed numerous press conferences, public events and public forums for private business, public-sector projects and non-profits.
